Greg Clark, General Manager for Kioti-Daedong, recently announced TMI (Tractors, Machinery, Implements) Pty Ltd as the top selling Kioti Daedong dealer in Australia for 2009.“TMI is a young, energetic company with plenty of know-how,” he said. “They opened for business in April 2008 and the degree of success, with over 50 Kioti-Daedong tractors sold this year, is testament to their hard work, skills and great teamwork.”
TMI operates in the Sunshine Coast and Cooloola regions of Queensland from the Brisbane River to Maryborough. The dealership, with offices, undercover showroom and warehouse, offers Daedong, Landini, McCormick and Yanmar tractors, distributed by PFG Australia, plus a wide range of farm implements and fully-equipped service vehicles for on call, on-farm customer convenience.

Greg Clark (Kioti-Daedong Australia), Shane Griffith, Anthony Griffith, Shane Green (TMI), Criag Maber (PFG Australia), Dong Kim (Kioti-Daedong Korea). The award was presented at the anual dealer conference at Morton Island QLD.
Their parts delivery service is designed to save time and money for customers on many brands of new and used machinery.
TMI’s Managing Director, Anthony Griffiths, says the diverse range of tractors and implements offered covers all facets of agricultural machinery requirements for the area.
“When I decided to open my own business, we wanted to work with PFG Australia because their warranty, service and parts back-up are second-to-none in the industry. Quality back-up from the importer is a key factor for us.
“PFG Australia is a family business with an approachable, can-do attitude. I can sit down with their top people and talk about what my customers need.”
Anthony has sold Daedong tractors since they were first released in Australia almost a decade ago.
“I’ve seen Daedong go from strength to strength,” he said. “They’ve been quality tested in Australia for many years now; their versatility and reliability is a given. Our customers appreciate the two-year warranty, and the steady increase in sales speaks for itself.”
He says the secret of his successful business, which was also named top-selling dealership for Yanmar tractors in Queensland, is a close-knit young team of six staff with good technical knowledge and plenty of hands-on experience in the agriculture industry.
Anthony says he is excited about future prospects. “I own the business and I get to meet our customers face to face and hear what they have to say. This is a big thing for me. I think we have a successful recipe that’s working well for us.”
