South Korean tractor manufacturer Kioti has expanded its offering in Australia, adding two compact skid steer loaders to its range.

Kioti, which specialises in small to mid power utility tractors, is taking on the competitive skid steer loader market in Australia as farmers, builders and contractors choose ever more specialised machinery to handle specific construction or loading tasks more efficiently.

A compact skid steer is a versatile multipurpose machine able to quickly dig or grade ground and lift, load and haul materials, particularly in tight spaces where manoeuvrability is important.

Kioti’s two offerings are the SL750 wheeled loader and the TL750 track loader, both 74 horsepower.

“We are excited to introduce the new line of Kioti skid steer loaders engineered for those who demand versatility and power in their equipment, whether you’re tackling construction projects, managing farm tasks or handling landscaping jobs,” said Greg Clark, Kioti’s grounds care division general manager.

“Our skid steers are built to deliver top-tier performance across the board.

“Designed with precision and durability in mind, Kioti skid steers offer exceptional manoeuvrability and strength, making them the perfect addition to your line-up with easy to use controls and a compact design.

“These machines excel in tight spaces while still providing the muscle needed for heavy duty work,” he said.

The models feature the same 74 horsepower Kioti engine used in Kioti’s popular RX series tractors, which has proved to be reliable and high performance.

The two models offer 3.2m of lift height making them ideal for dumping into trucks and high sided hoppers.

The loader uses a vertical lift path allowing the boom to raise the bucket straight up to full height.

The auto self-levelling system keeps the bucket or fork level without the need to manually adjust the angle on the way up during lifting.

This feature can be engaged with the flip of a switch.

Bucket capacity in both models is 0.33 cubic metres while tipping load is 2440kg in the SL750 and 2980kg in the TL750.

There is a choice of open or enclosed cab in each model.

The enclosed cab has air conditioning and ventilation and a sliding front door that folds up out of the way, allowing for quick entry and exit regardless of the bucket or attachment positioning.

There is also no need to remove the door as it can lock into an open position with ease and unlock when you prefer to enjoy the comfort of the enclosed cab.

Operator comfort is further enhanced with a high back suspension seat in both models.

Kioti’s Ride Control system, which uses an accumulator to minimise shock, improves the ride and comfort for the operator and helps to reduce material spillage during operation

A hydraulic pilot joystick with fingertip controls on the left for driving controls and right for boom and bucket control allows you to easily manage attachment functions for smooth operation.

Two-speed travel control can be selected to the needs of the site, allowing operators to quickly transition between low-speed precision and power and high-speed transport.

Travel speed in high is 19.4km/h in the SL750 and 13km/h in the TL750.

Both models come standard with LED front and rear working lights for high visibility in low light conditions, rear view camera and hydraulic quick attach for the bucket and other attachments. Prices start at $78,495 (ex GST) for the SL750 wheeled and $82,995 for the TL750 track.
